A very nice copy in original grey cloth, gilt lettering. Protected in a modern handmade archival cloth slipcase, leather label titled in gilt.

"As the necessity of the obtainment of a supply of pure air and water is essential to the life and growth of all organic matter, so in like manner it is important that those industries dealing with such substances should receive a similar treatment in
the course of their manufacture into the various compounds for which they are employed." - Author's preface.
In the last three years we have noted only one other copy of this same work offered for sale worldwide. That copy, unlike our present one, was an ex-library copy with stamps.
